Penn State the beginning of it all

The simple answer to why we all met and then traveled the world together is ... Penn State.

The longer answer is super convoluted.

I met Crystal in Math class where all 5 of the guys I sat with were trying to get her phone number. I met KT about the same time in a really weird coincidence that her roommate and my roommate (both strangers to us) were rivals in high school, well at least my roommate thought she was in competition with KT's. Then we became friends over having the same 8am drafting class and taking the bus to the opposite side of campus. (This is also how I met my husband, who knew PSU buses were the place to meet people?) Lisa was in AE with us too. She and I randomly grew up in the same town, but never knew each other. All through college, the four of us took turns being roommates. C, K, and I. Then C and K. Then K and L. And on and on. We all bonded like mad after college in the struggle to find our way in DC. So much fun so little money.

SO the long story is just long. But the beginning picture makes me crack up every time I see it.

In late summer, Katie, Crystal, and I toured Europe together before spending a semester studying abroad together in Leeds, England.

Here we are in Lucerne. That city was magical. As was the amazing hotel we stayed in. You could only get to it by a skycar. Very cool. We did a lot of hiking, cruising, and shopping here. I think I have 2 pictures of us here and hundreds of the beautiful landscape.
